When Caption by Hyatt opened its doors on March 31, 2026 — becoming the first hotel on Main Street and the first Hyatt-branded property in Chattanooga's history — every painted surface inside and out was the work of Dream Team Finishes. Our scope covered the full exterior facade, all 123 guestrooms, corridors, trims, two-tone accent walls, and custom mural wallcoverings in the lobby and bathrooms. The exterior presented one of our most technically demanding challenges: a six-story horseshoe-shaped building requiring a precisely mapped color-blocking pattern, coordinated with custom-colored HVAC louvers, and executed using a bulletproof elastomeric coating system built to last. Inside, we collaborated with the Caption by Hyatt team to select custom mural wallcoverings that reflect the character of Chattanooga's Southside neighborhood — and throughout the entire property, we used Dream Cream, our own proprietary high-build commercial paint, manufactured right here in Tennessee.
