dReam Team Finishes was selected to deliver the complete interior and exterior finish package for Hyatt Studios Jacksonville, a four-story extended-stay property built for traveling nurses and white-collar professionals on multi-week assignments. This marks our fourth project within the emerging extended-stay studio category — following work on Hilton's LiveSmart Studios in Tullahoma and Huntsville — and our first with the Hyatt Studios brand.

The extended-stay studio model strips away traditional hotel amenity spaces (no lobby bar, no restaurant, no conference rooms) in favor of a lean footprint: a gym, a laundry room, and a small entry foyer. Savings from that reduced common-area footprint are reinvested into the guest room itself, which includes a full kitchen (two-burner stove, convection microwave, fridge, dishwasher), a dedicated desk, a larger floor plan, and a full closet — positioning the property as a clean, simple-luxury option for long-term stays in secondary markets at a mid-tier price point. It's a recession-resistant model we expect to see much more of in the coming years, and we're proud to be a repeat finish partner as the concept scales.
